I don't know where they came from or who made them.  I'm sure it is just a matter of searching a little more.  Both pieces are large and have the drip edge(foam) of the McCoy brownware.  I love them! It is a West Bend 2-quart Bean Pot.  My Grandma gave it to me.  I served (put hair on your chest) chili out of it when I first married.  It isn't big enough to serve more than 4 if you serve a soup in it.  If you used it as a bean pot, it would serve quite a few.&lt;br /&gt;It weighs a couple of pounds, at least.  The thing with pottery is that things stay hot longer.  Or in the case of a pitcher, cold.&lt;br /&gt;It's not worth much, maybe $15.00.  I've got to say though, on a autumn decorated table it's perfect!  You know, chili time!  Lovely with oranges and golds.&lt;br /&gt;I don't use it anymore.  Though I should.  I love it.  My grandmother had used it for many years before she gave it to me.
